Hot rolled steel

Hot rolled steel is a type of steel that is formed using the hot rolling process at a temperature above its recrystallization temperature. Steel is easier to shape at this elevated temperature. The unit of measure of hot rolled structures (structural steel) is the metric ton (MT). Hot Rolled Steel Structures applications include Multi Storey low rise buildings, equipment supporting structures, pipe racks, conveyor supporting structures, cement plants, etc. The majority of hot rolled steel buildings and structures are designed by Consultants / Steel Companies and tendered for fabrication, blasting, painting and delivery to the jobsite. The fabricator is responsible for the design of connections and the preparation of shop drawings, erection drawings. Occasionally erection is included in the scope of the supplier. Hot rolled steel is available in many shapes, including round bars, sheets, plates, I-beams and channels. The construction process of a steel building is much more convenient and less expensive than conventional method of construction. Steel buildings are highly beneficial architectural structures as they not only have a longer lifespan but also more endurance than conventional concrete buildings. Steel Buildings have brought a revolutionary change in the construction industry due to its reliability, stability and material strength.

Pre-Engineered Building

Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) is a branch of structural engineering where building are designed and manufactured within a factory. Pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB) are a steel structures built over a structural concept of primary members, secondary members, roof and wall sheeting connected to each other and various other building components. All the steel buildings are custom designed to be lighter in weight and high in strength. PEB’s are ideal for non-residential and wide-span low-rise buildings. Some of the key advantages of PEB include economical in cost, factory-controlled quality, durability, longevity, flexibility in expansion, environmentally friendly, faster installation, etc. Pre-engineered steel buildings are used for diverse applications such as factories, warehouses, showrooms, supermarkets, offices, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, community buildings and many more.

Truss Structure

Steel pipe truss structure is a new advanced structure developed from space frame. All parts making up a pipe truss structure are steel pipe bars or hollow tube sections. Structural steel trusses are the metallic support mechanism, found under the roof to provide support. A truss is essentially a triangulated system of straight interconnected structural elements. The steel pipe truss structure is widely used in the area of public buildings, such as commercial warehouse, customized parking’s. Villa roof work, etc. The main reasons for using trusses are: Long span Lightweight Cost effective Reduced deflection (compared to plain members) Opportunity to support considerable loads
